Photo16 is a contemporary portrait and wedding photographic studio situated near Angouleme. Recently opened by well established British photographer Harriet Carpenter, the studio offers a fresh modern approach to traditional portrait photography in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Harriet's tried and tested methods enable her to offer a top quality product for a fraction of the costs one normally associates with a professional studio. She offers a full bespoke service from the sitting through to the printing and framing, allowing prices to be kept to a minimum whilst providing an extremely rapid turn round time (normally less than 5 working days). Harriet started her career working in the British film and television industry in the camera department. She spent years working on high profile dramas and documentaries and gained her expertise in lighting and composition from some of the best cameramen in the industry. In 1989 she made the decision to leave film and television to pursue her true passion; photography. She opened her first studio near Cambridge, and went on to become a member of the Royal Photographic Society, and based on the quality of her work, gained membership of the Master Photographer's Association. With her new studio in France Harriet is continuing to provide the same high quality photography that proved so popular in the UK.
